Il Natale si avvicina e quest’anno piu’ che mai si avverte quel bisogno di lasciarsi catturare in anticipo dalla magia delle feste. Proprio per questo ho deciso di partire per tempo con alcuni progetti di diy natalizi per decorare la casa per le feste.
La prima cosa che ci colpisce, sotto le feste, quando entriamo in casa è sicuramente la ghirlanda o fuori porta natalizia. Oggi quindi condivido con voi un breve e semplice tutorial per realizzare tre varianti di fuori porta natalizio minimal, caldo e di tendenza utilizzando quasi esclusivamente elementi naturali.
Se vogliamo scaldare l’atmosfera natalizia possiamo optare per l’utilizzo di materiali naturali come il legno, i fiori di cotone, le arance essiccate, la cannella, l’eucalipto, l’alloro e le pigne.
Se invece tendiamo a preferire un risultato minimal e di tendenza possiamo sfruttare le pampas.
occorrente per delle ghirlande natalizie in stile naturale, minimal e di tendenza.
- Una base circolare che può essere di legno, di vimini o di metallo. In alternativa si può’ lavorare una vecchia gruccia.
- Un verde per la base: io ho utilizzato in un caso soltanto eucalipto, in un altro eucalipto ed alloro e in un terzo modello soltanto pampas.
- Elementi di decoro. Io ho deciso di inserire fiori di cotone veri, fettine di arance essiccate (anch’esse vere), pigne, tronchetti circolari di legno, alcuni campanellini.
- Saranno anche necessari: delle forbici o tronchesi, dello spago o filo di ferro animato, pistola di colla a caldo.
1) prepara la base di lavoro
Come sempre, all’inizio di qualsiasi progetto di fai da te occorre avere un’ampia base di lavoro. Anche un tavolo ricoperto da fogli di giornale si presta benissimo. In alternativa si può’ utilizzare un tagliere o spianatoia da tavolo e destinarlo poi sempre ai lavori manuali.
2) tieni VICINO TUTTO L’OCCORRENTE
Per velocizzare il progetto prendere tutto il materiale da impiegare e disporlo sul nostro piano di lavoro ci permetterà di avere tutto a portata di mano e di ridurre i tempi di lavorazione.
3) Procedimento del nostro fai da te!
Si parte dalla base, se avete già la vostra struttura circolare si inizierà con il disporre il verde fino a ricoprire l’intera struttura sottostante. In alternativa bisognerà lavorare manualmente la gruccia fino a renderla circolare.
Se la base di verde scelta sarà l’eucalipto noterete subito come il suo fusto e le sue foglie si presteranno benissimo al progetto andando ad assecondare senza rompersi tutti i vostri movimenti per fissarlo alla struttura.
Il verde, in questo caso, puo’ essere fissato sia con dello spago sia con del filo di ferro animato. Per ghirlande non troppo grandi e non troppo piene andrà bene un filo dal diametro non troppo importante.
Anche se lavorerete con delle pampas andranno bene sia lo spago che il filo di ferro.
Una volta circondata la struttura con il verde (e fissati tra di loro) potremo procedere all’applicazione di elementi di decoro. In questa fase entra in campo la colla a caldo con cui ho fissato sia le pigne, che le arance che i fiori di cotone. Anche i tronchetti di legno.
3) Alcuni piccoli consigli
Prima di fissare questi elementi con la colla a caldo apponeteli alla struttura e al verde senza incollarli. Date uno sguardo d’insieme alla ghirlanda in modo da capire se la disposizione scelta vi piace. Considerate sempre le simmetrie. Nel caso in cui vogliate realizzare invece una ghirlanda asimmetrica verificate sempre che la posizione degli elementi di decoro rispetti la vostra scelta iniziale. Una volta applicata la colla a caldo basterà attendere qualche minuto e la vostra ghirlanda sarà pronta.
4) ora non ci resta che appendere la nostra ghirlanda natalizia
Possiamo ora procedere alla creazione di un piccolo cappio con lo spago per appendere la nostra ghirlanda. Se vogliamo però possiamo aggiungere un tocco di calore in più: le lucine led. Quelle a batteria solitamente si prestano meglio perché verranno nascoste all’interno della ghirlanda stessa e non avremo il problema del filo da appendere alla corrente visto che l’idea iniziale è quella di appenderla alla porta.
Qualche idea in piu’
Se abbiamo una parete spaziosa vuota possiamo realizzare piu’ ghirlande di varie dimensioni. Possiamo ancorarle con dei fili da pesca/spago da cucina/spago classico ad un lungo ramo (di quelli che si trovano facilmente in spiaggia grazie alle mareggiate) e decorare così un’intera parete.

I fiori di cotone e l’eucalipto li puoi procurare direttamente dalla tua fioraia di fiducia. Stessa cosa per le pampas. In alternativa, se sei fortunata, puoi trovarne di bellissime in giro, nei canneti spontanei. Ma attenzione, non tutti i canneti producono quel tipo di pampas bello pomposo e chiaro che vedi nella ghirlanda che ho realizzato. Queste che ho usato io le ho comprate dal fioraio.

Bene, arrivati a questo punto non resta che lasciarsi guidare dalla creatività, riciclando anche tutto ciò’ che già abbiamo in casa.
